Holiday Tree Trimmings

Posted by Sarah on Sunday Nov 23, 2008 Under Shopping Resources

While I was visiting my friend Amanda in Florida, we were out shopping and she told me that this year will be the first year she will have a Christmas tree of her very own because she has always been on the road visiting family.  Because this is her first, she has nothing with which to deck her halls.  Hopefully these recommendations will help Amanda and maybe some others out there get started with their trees.

Thanks for the ideas. I’ve been at a loss for those lately and our tree needs to go up soon. Of course my favorite is your cabin tree idea, but I don’t think that would quite fit in our ever so standard stucco florida style home. But I think Pottery Barn and West Elm have a lot to offer me.

Thanks for the mention on your blog! I love to create things this time of the year that simple but still can compete with the sparkle of the season. Moving to Florida from Wisconsin a few years back has made it more important to me to keep traditions and make the holidays sparkle even with out the snow so most things I make for the tree gets embellished.

If you would like to see more ornaments and other hand crafted things stop by my blog Pladpepper.blogspot.com

    Thanks again,

    Jill Prince (aka Muddypepper)

I love it all, but the natural beauty of the cabin tree pieces speak to me so!
I think Muddypepper’s beautifully felted acorns are wonderful and a perfect mix for the little woodland creatures. Naturally!

I was searching for information about \’Florida Home Interior Design\’, and this your page (\’Tree Trimmings | The Estate Of Things\’) was in search results. Not sure why it appeared, but your site is still interesting to read :)
