Flea Market Style Magazine

Posted by Sarah on Thursday Feb 11, 2010 Under News

A new magazine Flea Market Style will hit newstands February 23, 2010.  Most major retailers will carry it including Barnes & Noble, Target, Walgreens, Walmart, Borders and CVS to name a few. I’m a little curious… since I’m crazy about magazines and all.

I’d like to read it right before hitting the flea market or the antique fair, its like training before the big game to get you pumped up.

hhahhaha, like training before the big even, so awesome. I wonder if it will fold like every other maggie I love so much.

Is it cutesy? It looks a little cutesy.

it appears as though it might be in the cutesy vein, maybe not exactly what you’re looking for but could get the junk/thrift juices flowing

Too high-priced for a magazine sold at Walgreens–$9.95. I put it back.

    $9.95 ???

  • Gwen Says:

$9.95 is a bit pricey for me, too, since I am, first and foremost, a lover of free & bartered treasures whenever possible, but THIS magazine is still worth it if you have any sort of junk/thrift bone in your body. Happy treasure hunting!!

I think it is great. I see my whole life as a recycle project. tons of good ideas to get the creative juices flowing. It is well worth the price.

Is this magazine more of a decorating magazine or a project magazine? I need to know before I spend $10 for the magazine. Thank you ladies. I appreciate it.

I have passed on purchasing this magazine a few times, because of the price. What about a trial offer?

  • Susie Says:

$9.95?? Seriously. I was at the register and she rung it up. I had misread the price as $5.95. I had to tell the worker that I was sorry, but I can’t pay $9.95 for a magazine. I just walked away. It seemed like a great magazine. It is about found things, bargain things and cheap things turned into wonderful things. Why can’t the price be a bargain as well? I would have paid $5.95 easily. Sorry!
