About
The Estate of Things is a resource for Home Decor, an at home practicalities guide to renovation, decor, stylized living, DIY projects, and more. Not “turbo-tragically hip”, just cool.
As Authors of the Home Decor Blog: The Estate of Things we often refer to our pet project as Teot. This is mostly because we love acronyms. Coincidentally, its a Finnish word that represents the plural translation of the word achievement. As Teot grows, we’re starting to think maybe this is appropriate. We feel very honored to watch our readership blow up, and thank you for checking us out! Please bookmark us, find us on Facebook or MySpace , tell your friends about us, and drop us a line to introduce yourself .
We want to say SUPER HUGE THANKS to everyone that has visited our blog and shared comments with us.
The point of all of this blog business is so that one day when we are a little bit older and wiser - we can set up shop somewhere and start selling our own inventory both online and in a radical little storefront in some town, USA. For now, we are utilizing this blog to share our ideas and inspirations with one another, and to make friends online!
So yeah! With that being said - Thanks so much to YOU, we hope that you will grow with us!!
If you’re into it - join The Estate of Things mailing list and let us know that you love us. I promise - we won’t mail you anything that you don’t want.
Here’s a little bit of information about us:
Sarah Farrell is the shopping aficionado and can pinch or bust a budget. She’s got an eye for spotting retardedly great finds from the top of the line to your local thrift stores and EBay. Also, she can predict the next big wave of home decor cool. Hear it from her before its in your face, she’s probably tired of it and on to other things while the rest of us are still scrambling to make it work. Plus she’s wicked smart and funny and totally having a baby with her pretty husband Dan.
Betsy Moyer is into DIY and artsy stuff. She likes bold graphics, all things retro, and is magnetized toward anything aqua, teal, or turquoise. Her education in Art History is one of many a result from an undying need to understand the philosophy of things in life. She takes this along with a sense of humor into her design approach. In her spare time Betsy likes to build websites and business processes.
Love,
The Estate of Things
