Well….I did a little of this

A painted stair runner.

Ok so I didn’t do it, professional painters did it. I told the painters that some people in the blogosphere said Frog tape was all that. So they used it. The verdict, it costs more and the blue tape is just as good. Clear floor epoxy was applied to protect those precious stripes.

This is not in my house, although I wish it was.  It is in a rental house in Southern Pines, NC.  You can see more pictures of this property at our flickr page. 

If you’re wondering all the colors are Benjamin Moore, Stone Brown, Icy Morn and the white is Richards 700 Oil Enamel (I use this on most of the trim in the remodels I’m involved in, my painter prefers this product)
